Find out more about the conversations the Indian designer had with the royal at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

Anita Dongre’s entrepreneurial skills are unparalleled—spanning across couture, high street, jewellery and sustainable fashion, she has five brands to her name. Safe to say, the designer has a fair sense of understanding of fashion consumption patterns across various price points. Dongre was invited to be a part of the World Economic Forum in Davos which brings together industry leaders to talk about various trends that shape social change. She was a part of the ‘3 Trillion Reasons to Help the World Spend Better agenda’ panel discussion and ‘The Fashion CEO Agenda Roundtable’, which was held under the patronage of the Crown Princess of Denmark.
Eva Kruse, president and CEO of Global Fashion Agenda and Copenhagen Fashion Summit and Alicia Tillman, chief marketing officer, SAP shared the stage with Dongre. Talking about how each spend can affect the environment, the Indian fashion designer said, “All of us can define our journey by the purchasing and investment decisions we make, by the charities or goals we support, and by the actions we take. Each decision has the power to change someone’s world.” The conversations also touched upon the best use of innovation, leadership, and collaborations in fashion to create disruptive business models for the future.
