Organic farm market held in Sector 126, Noida

An organic farmer's market was held at Beejom farm in Sector 126 recently. Vegetables and fruits grown organically were put up for sale in the market. Handicrafts made by Beejom self-help group and goods to encourage sustainable living and zero waste lifestyles were also at display at the market. The visitors also met some farm animals at the event as they took a walk along the natural farms.
“This week we will celebrated Makar Sakranti at the farm. At Beejom we celebrate the festival in our own way combining many rituals from farming communities across India,” says Aparna Rajagopal, owner, Beejom farm.
