LPG tanker overturns
TNN | Jan 25, 2019, 04:48 ISTMangaluru: An LPG tanker overturned near Valal on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway, early in the morning on Thursday. The traffic on the National Highway was disrupted for a few hours due to this, but no leak or casualties were reported.
According to police, the LPG tanker was moving to Shivamogga from Mangaluru. On reaching near Valal in Uppinangady, the driver lost control, and the vehicle toppled over. The driver escaped unhurt. Officials from the gas company were called to the spot to take precautionary measures.
This is the second incident in a span of one week.
