The week-long teachers strike in Los Angeles has ended.
Their union has approved a tentative deal with the district, which means they'll head back into classrooms Wednesday (January 23).

Tuesday's (January 22) deal meets many of the union's demands to improve classrooms, and it also gives teachers an immediate 6 percent pay raise.
LA mayor Eric Garcetti - who mediated talks- called the deal 'historic.'
