Share market update:Realty shares mixed; DLF slips over 1%
NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Unitech (up 2.70 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.99 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.35 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.81 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
DLF (down 1.58 per cent ), Oberoi Realty (down 1.30 per cent ), Sobha (down 0.52 per cent ) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.10 per cent ) were trading in the red.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.25 per cent down at 236.05 around 11:03 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 8 points at 10,914.75 while the BSE Sensex was down 49.71 points at 36,394.93.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Sun Pharma, Ashok Leyland, Zee Entertainment, Wipro, SAIL, ITC and Vedanta were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
