Bhopal: Candidates appearing for technicians post interview created ruckus at AIIMS here on Tuesday alleging irregularities in selection process. In all 144 candidates were called for the interview, of which 15 were selected and given appointment. The candidates who could not clear the interview created ruckus on the premises.
Pointing finger at the whole recruitment process, agitating candidates, moved to the main entrance of AIIMS medical college shouting slogans. Police were called to bring the situation under control. The police pacified the agitating candidates and convinced them to leave campus. The applicants alleged that AIIMS administration appointed only those who greased their palms.
Rajkumar Dandi, SI Bagsewania police station, said that candidates who were called for interview at AIIMS, demonstrated over alleged discrepancies and irregularities in recruitment process. “We immediately rushed to the campus and convinced the agitating candidate to take up the matter before higher authority if they were not satisfied with process. We managed to pacify the irked candidates and the matter was resolved,” said Dandi.
