Gold jewellery, laptop stolen from locked house in Madurai

MADURAI: Unidentified men broke into a house in K Pudur here and decamped with gold jewellery worth Rs 4 lakh and a laptop.
The incident came to light when house owner N Radhakrishnan, 65, and his wife, returned home on Wednesday morning after visiting their relatives in Chennai.
Radhakrishnan, who runs a lodge in the area, and his wife went to Chennai on January 17. Burglars broke open the front door to gain entry into the house and decamped with the valuables.
The K Pudur registered a case.
