MS Dhoni time and again has proved he is an asset for the Indian team and we witnessed yet another example for the same on Wednesday.
During New Zealand's first innings, Dhoni read Trent Boult from behind the stumps and guided spinner Kuldeep Yadav how to bowl. What followed next? Boult's wicket!
In the 37th over of the first ODI between India and New Zealand, Boult was on the strike and Dhoni advised Kuldeep to come round the wicket and bowl a googly as he said, "Yeh aank band karke rokega. Dusra waala daal sakta hai isko."
Kuldeep obliged it and Boult ended up edging a simple catch to Rohit Sharma at the first slip.

Kuldeep claimed the final four wickets for just 11 runs as India bundled out New Zealand for a mere 157 runs.
When India began their chase, their opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan became the second fastest Indian to 5,000 ODI runs, in terms of the number of innings.
Dhawan, who needed 118 innings to reach the landmark, beat former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly (126 innings). Virat Kohli remains the fastest Indian to 5K ODI runs as he achieved it in 114 innings.
The Indian opener Dhawan has levelled with West Indian legend, Brian Lara, who also reached 5K ODI runs in 118 innings.
