IndiGo has reported a profit after tax of ₹190.9 crore for the quarter ended December 2018 as compared to a profit of ₹762 crore reported during the same quarter previously.
In a statement to the BSE, the airline said that the profitability was adversely affected by high fuel prices and currency depreciation. The airline said that it had a strong balancesheet with total cash of ₹14,136.1 crore, including free cash of ₹4,618.3 crore.
The airline said that it had a fleet of 208 aircraft on December 31, 2018.
