DETROIT — Cadillac is re-entering sports sponsorships with a multiyear deal with the PGA of America.
The three-year agreement makes the General Motors luxury brand the official vehicle of the PGA of America, PGA Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
The deal includes on-site marketing, usage of vehicles for players as well as advertising on both CBS and ESPN, which will televise future PGA Championships. Cadillac also serves as a partner for the KPMG Women's Leadership Summit.
Cadillac Chief Marketing Officer Deborah Wahl, in a statement, described the PGA of America as "the perfect platform to showcase the brand" and its "expanding portfolio," which is expected to add a new or redesigned vehicle every six months on average through 2021.
"We are thrilled to be re-entering the sports landscape with a premier partner in the PGA of America," she said in a press release.
The last time Cadillac sponsored such a sporting event was the World Golf Championship in 2016, according to a brand spokesman.
