Satishkumar Khadke, chief executive officer of the Pimpri Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA), presented the draft budget at a meeting presided over by the authority’s president, Sadashiv Khade.
Besides building 5,000 affordable houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the authority has proposed to build a helipad, an industrial museum, a Vipasanna Centre and a Sanvidhan Bhavan in the draft budget.
“The helipad will come up on one acre plot in Moshi and will also have a guest house. It will be completed in a year,” Khadke told TOI.
He said the Sanvidhan Bhavan will have a research centre, a competitive examination centre, a library, a mini theatre and a garden.
“The Vipasanna Centre will come up on a 7-acre plot reserved for a park in Sector 11 of the authority’s limits,” Khadke said.
