As Uttarakhand is reeling under an intense cold wave in most parts of the state, people in Almora facing some serious questions this winter. The cold wave is so intense that tap water has started freezing in Basoli village of Almora. Plants and foliage are covered with a layer of snow offering a scenic view to tourists. The Uttarakhand government has asked people to take precautionary measures against the cold. Many places in Uttarakhand and Himachal have received snowfall in the past few days.
