Pedestrian fatally hit by bike in Hydernagar

A pedestrian died after he was hit by a motorcycle in Hydernagar under KPHB police station area here on Monday.

Boda Yellaiah (58), who migrated to Hyderabad from Sangareddy district and was working as a watchman in KHPB Colony was on his way to a medical shop, when the accident occurred.

According to the police, the accident took place around 10.30 a.m. near Maisamma temple in Hydernagar.

The victim’s friend Naguluri Sanjeeva (42), who escaped with minor injuries told police that negligence of a motorcycle rider is the cause of the accident.

Iranian gang nabbed

A special task force team of Cyberabad police apprehended the notorious ‘Irani’ gang members, who committed six attention diversions offences in a matter of five hours in October last year.

They recovered 32.5 tola of gold ornaments worth ₹11 lakh from their possession.

The gang members identified as Waseem Abbas Siraj (34) of Thane in Maharashtra, Jai Kumar Rajak (37) from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Niyaz Mohd Khan (44) Laxmangarh in Rajasthan.

They were involved in various offences in the Cyberabad and Rachakonda regions.

Waseem Abbas Siraj, along with his associates had committed 58 offences in Mumbai, Thane, Varanasi, Allahabad, and Patna, according to the police.
