Conservation of Pallikaranai marshland: TN forest dept to conduct photography contest

Pallikaranai marshlandCHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu forest department has invited photographers to send pictures on the theme of biodiversity and conservation of Pallikaranai marshland in Chennai.
The competition is part of the World Wetland Day celebrations falling on February 2.
Photographs should be sent to district forest officer Subbiah’s email -- dfoufd@yahoo.in -- on or before January 29. Three best photographs would get prizes, said an official release from the Chennai district forest officer.
