FALL RIVER — Police have cordoned off sections of South Main Street after what several witnesses described as a shooting involving two men.

Police are currently on scene, and the section of South Main across from Government Center has been blocked off with police tape as authorities investigate.

Also blocked off is the end of a pedestrian walkway behind South Main Street where a blue folding knife was found on the ground by police.

Bullets holes could be seen in the window of the Frank D. Camera Law Offices, at 70 S. Main St.

A silver Nissan Armada, witnesses say, was also shot during the incident with one of the vehicle's back windows being struck by a bullet.

The driver of a black Jeep Renegade that was allegedly struck by the gunfire later stopped at the bus station and was being interviewed by police.
