One-Off Ferrari SP30 Is Looking For A New Home… Again

There aren’t that many one-off Ferraris out there, yet one of them, the SP30, is up for grabs for the second time since it was initially shipped to the UAE, in 2012.

Its owner tried selling it last year too, on the other side of the globe, in Texas. However, the supercar failed to find a new home, and will travel to Paris, France, for the RMSothebys auction on February 6.

The one-of-a-kind SP30 has only 105 km (65 miles) on the odo. That’s only 2 km (1.2 miles) more than it had last fall, so nothing much has changed since then. It’s still in superb overall condition, as it should be given that it’s barely been driven, and the winning bidder will even be able to peel the original plastic protective covering off the infotainment screen.

Of course, they’ll have to pay a very steep sum for it, which is very likely in the 7-digit territory. Nonetheless, in return they’ll get to enjoy that beautifully sculpted body, finished in red and black, on top of a grey and black Alcantara interior with a few red accents.

Built by Ferrari’s Special Projects Division, the SP30 is based on the 599 GTB and borrows some bits and pieces from the 599 GTO and 599XX as well. Although the bodywork is bespoke, it retains the same drivetrain as the standard 599, namely a 6.0-liter V12 with more than 600 horsepower, which rockets it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just a little over 3 seconds. Which should be plenty of oomph in anyone’s book.
