Former Army Chief General JJ Singh was chief Guest

Working on a mission to impart leadership via Academics in the children of Ludhiana, Presidium school Organized a Grand award Ceremony to honour 25 Non Political Personalities of Ludhiana who have been Leading the city and society towards betterment.

Former Chief of Army Staff India and Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, General Joginder Jaswant Singh (VSM, AVSM, PVSM ) Graced the event with his presence as the chief guest. 25 personalities who were awarded as the leaders of Ludhiana were from diverse fields such as Industry, entrepreneurship, Social Activism, Fashion, Art, Literature, Education and much more.

Personalities who were awarded are: Dr. Paramjit KAUR ( Principal BCM School Shastri Nagar), Upkar Singh Ahuja (lerading industrialist and president of chamber of industrial and commercial undertakings) , Jaswant Singh Zafar (eminent poet and running campaign to clean Buddha nullah), Harjinder Kukreja (Leading businessman and promoting Sikhism in World), Dr. KNS Kang (Director of Punjab College of technical Education) ,Tejwant Singh Kittu (Famous Music Director).

The others were Artist Ayushi Gupta, Simrat Kathuria (Doctor), Traffic Expert Rahul Verma, entire team of Ek Noor Sewa Society which operates neki ki Dukaan, Gursahib Singh ( Punjab Coordinator of Khalsa Aid), Nikkiz Makeover, Arushi Oswal Fashion Designer, Designer Sonu Gandhi, Munish Jindal( Founder Hover Robotix), Milind Kwatra (Founder Hum Hain), Kawal Chhabra (social media expert), Gautam Sharma, Avneet Singh ( owner of food chain).

Talking about the vision behind the event, Renu Vijj, Principal of the presidium School Said, “We wish to create the children of Ludhiana the future leaders of the society and to demonstrate to them the selfless contributions we have invited these esteemed personalities at our school campus today we believe leadership can never be taught, it can only be demonstrated”
