Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief, Mehbooba Mufti, on Sunday said that the Muslim community residing in Jammu region is being “openly threatened” that a 1947 like situation will be brought back, and warned that if Governor Satya Pal Malik doesn’t take adequate measures, the consequences of the neglect could be dangerous. “Muslims of Jammu are openly threatened that situation like 1947 will be brought back again. If Governor doesn't deal with this fragile situation, consequences can be dangerous,” Mufti said in a press meet in Srinagar.
