‘Know Your Force’ show from today
tnn | Jan 21, 2019, 23:48 ISTThiruvananthapuram: Air Force Station, Trivandrum under the aegis of Southern Air command will organize ‘Know Your Force’ exhibition to motivate local youth, school and college students and have a better understanding between people and forces. The two-day event being organized in connection with this year’s Republic Day celebrations will be held at Shanghumugam from Tuesday.
An array of military aircraft which include Avro, AN-32, Mi-17 helicopter, advanced light helicopter (ALH), IGLA missile launcher, specialist weapons and equipment used by Garud Commandos of IAF and other weaponry will be on display.
Education institutions who want to send their students along with a teacher representative may contact Gp. Capt A Kapur, chief administrative officer, Air Force Station Trivandrum at 9910003028 or 0471 – 2551361. The event will conclude on Wednesday. TNN
