Granola is delicious, but the portion size? Tiny!

In my recipe you get a whole cup for about ¼ the calories of regular granola. Bonus: Only five simple ingredients. (P.S. There are some great all-natural sugar-free syrups out there—shop around!)

Hungry Girl-nola
Serves 1

¼ cup old-fashioned oats
¼ cup puffed rice cereal
¼ cup puffed wheat cereal
1½ tbsp. sugar-free pancake syrup
½ cup bite-sized freeze-dried apples

1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Spray a baking pan with nonstick spray.

2. In a medium bowl, combine oats, puffed rice, puffed wheat, and pancake syrup, stirring gently to coat.

3. Spread mixture into the pan. Bake until crispy and lightly browned, 30 to 35 minutes, rearranging mixture with a spatula halfway through.

4. Let cool completely, and then stir in the apples.
