DETROIT — Can an old dog learn new tricks? That's the question for Bentley in its centennial year as it prepares to sell its first electrified vehicle.
The Bentayga plug- in hybrid, slated for release this year, is presenting some new challenges for the storied ultraluxury brand. Dealers will have to make infrastructure adjustments to accommodate the plug-in, while learning how to target the plush crossover to the right consumers, Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Bentley Motors, told Automotive News after a speech during the World Congress here last week.
