This is the first in a series of four Tourism Ireland workshops which will take place in France throughout 2019, which aims to highlight ease of access from Ireland to France and deliver more business to Ireland’s regions in the off-peak season. Other workshops will take place in Lyon, Bordeaux and Nice.
“Our workshop and networking event was an excellent opportunity to meet, and do business with, travel agents in Toulouse – ensuring that Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for the travel agents this year when recommending and booking holidays for their clients,”said Monica MacLaverty, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Southern Europe. “With an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Toulouse operating all year round, our aim is to highlight ease of access to Ireland for people living in this part of France. We are also aiming to drive growth to the regions and to encourage French holidaymakers to travel to Ireland in the shoulder season months.”
