Indore: A day-long seminar on aplastic anaemia, its causes, prevention and treatment using homoeopathy medicines concluded at Shri Gujarati Homoeopathic Medical College here on Sunday. The seminar was organised for interns and final year students of BHMS course. Programme was presided over by college principal Dr SP Singh. While addressing the gathering, Singh said certain types of anaemia can be from birth while others are caused due to deficiency of iron, protein or blood loss.
Guest speaker Dr AK Dwivedi said homeopathy has been found successful in treatment of diseases like aplastic anaemia and pancytopenia. “Aplastic anaemia is a condition that occurs when the body stops producing enough new blood cells,” Dr AK Dwivedi said. The seminar was attended by Dr Hemant Soni of Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Bhopal. Programme was conducted by student Akanksha Pagare.
