FORD FIGO FACELIFT
Launch Date : First Quarter 2019
After having introduced Freestyle and Aspire last year, Ford will be giving their hatch Figo a mid-cycle facelift. Not that different in exterior design from Ford Aspire, Ford Figo hatchback will feature the same engine line-up as before. In its case, there is a 1.2 litre petrol unit producing 96 bhp while the 1.5 diesel engines churns out 100 bhp of power. Present will be a 5-speed manual gearbox in the diesel and petrol variants. However a 6-speed torque converted automatic transmission will also be in the offering on the petrol Figo. Expect the cabin to be equipped with a new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford’s Sync 3.

MARUTI WAGON R
Launch date : First Quarter 2019
Tallboy design of Maruti Wagon R has quite a few takers due to which the automaker is set to give it an entirely new look. A clean departure from its predecessor, 2019 Wagon R will not get the Heartect platform as the company aims to keep the costs down of this model. With no mechanical change, the new Maruti Wagon R will feature the same 1.0 litre petrol engine that comes equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission. There will also be an all-electric version of this hatchback which is under going testing to see its feasibility in actual Indian conditions.

HONDA CIVIC
Launch date : First Quarter 2019
Honda Civic has had its share of fan following in India. Despite brilliant looks, comfort and performance, a low-ground clearance plagued its success in our country. However 2018 saw the return of this premium sedan in the form of an exhibit at the Delhi Auto Expo. Thus 2019 will witness its launch as the All-New Honda Civic would offer both petrol and diesel powertrains. The former will be 1.8 litre gasoline engine capable of producing 140 bhp of power output while the latter will be the 1.6 litre oil mill producing a maximum power output of 120 bhp. This motor is in fact the same one that is currently doing its duty on the new Honda CR-V.

NEW RENAULT
Launch date : August 2019
This year Renault would be upgrading the Duster with enhanced looks. Up-front what you will see is a redesigned hood, LED daytime running lights, a new 3-part headlamp cluster design and a more pronounced radiator grille bearing Renault logo right in the center of it. The presence of a silver skid plate both in the front and the rear gives this SUV a rugged feel. On the inside, out go the circular air vents and in comes in a rectangular one. Its steering wheel design under goes a change and is similar to the one seen on its elder sibling the Renault Captur. The current generation touchscreen could also be given an update.

NEW GENARATION MERCEDES BENZ GLE
Launch date : July 2019
2019 Mercedes Benz GLE will feature an all-new design in comparison to its predecessor. Exterior changes would include elements like a new grille featuring a large three-pointed star upfront alongside a muscular bonnet. The rear brings forward a sleeker tailgate design with vents (in the bumper) on the either side. As for the cabin, there will be two new 12.3-inch screens on offer. One would be the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. Engine line-up would include petrol and two diesel options. The former will be the GLE 450 4MATIC capable of churning out 360 bhp. The diesels on the other hand would comprise of a 300d 4MATIC giving out 240 bhp while the 400d 4MATIC would be good for 324 bhp.
