China to import Indian tobacco

India and China on Monday signed a protocol to export Indian tobacco leaves to China, which is the largest consumer and producer of the tobacco with over 350 million smokers — the world’s highest. The protocol was signed by India’s Commerce Secretary Anup Wadhawan and Vice-Minister of General Administration of China Customs (GACC) Zhang Jiwen, the Indian Embassy here said in a statement.
