Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The birthday of Maharishi Mahesh Yogiji was celebrated as Lakshya Annual Sports Meet at Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence.
MLA Krishna Gaur, who was the chief guest, opened the programme. Dr Alok Mishra, Barkatullah University Bhopal (Department of Physical Education) was the special guest. The guests were welcomed by Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence Principal Rekha Nimkar.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Gaur said Maharishi institution works to build children’s future while providing education to them. Dr Alok Mishra said sports are necessary for the physical and mental health of the children.
Later the students presented the welcome song. Colourful cultural programmes, sports, games enthralled the audience.Students presented various asans of Yoga and Mass PT. The guests gave away prizes to the children.
