Surat: A class XII student left home in Jahangirpura area with his guitar to become a music director early on Monday morning. However, the teenager was located by police and brought back home.

Family of Abhishek (name changed to protect identity) approached police early on Monday when they did not find him in his room. His mother was first to notice that Abhishek (17) was in his room. She alerted his father and they began to search for him. On failing to locate the boy they approached Jahangirpura police station.

Police found a note written in English from the boy’s room in which he had stated that he cannot live life the way it was and wanted to struggle to become music composer. His family members informed police that Abhishek loved music and was learning guitar since last two years. They further said that the boy also took some money from home.

According to family members, Abhishek was normal throughout Sunday and went out with his friends after returning from school and tuition classes. After hanging out with friends in the evening he came home and went to sleep.

Later on Monday evening the family members received a call from Abhishek who had reached Ratnagiri by train. Family members have left for Ratnagiri, said police.
