Indore: On day four of the murder of city builder Sandeep Agrawal, police said the contract was given to a criminal Sudhakar Rao Maratha who had sent two shooters — Vikas Tiwari and Ajay to kill Agrawal. However, the truth will come to the fore after quizzing Maratha. Shooters could not be arrested till late Sunday. Presently, Maratha is in the jail in Rajasthan. Police will bring him to the city after the court’s nod.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Harinarayanachari Misrha said two persons, identified as Vikas Tiwari and Ajay Bhoi, did the JOB! According to police, Sudhakar was contacted by a person for the contract killing following which he had sent two shooters to Indore. DIG Mishra said Agrawal was killed over money matters and a contract was given to kill him but the contract amount is still unknown. The person who gave the contract is also unknown. However, sources claimed that the kingpin has also been traced… but the police refused to divulge any details. Earlier, police claimed that two persons were identified and teams were also sent to nab them but they could not be arrested till late Sunday. Crime branch and a team of Special Task Force are also investigating the case.
