Two held for attack on RSS worker’s house
tnn | Jan 21, 2019, 23:48 ISTThiruvananthapuram: Neyyar Dam police on Monday arrested two men in connection with the attack on the house of an RSS worker, Nirappukala Shibu.
The accused have been identified as Uzhamalakkal Chittuveetumuriyil residents Shan alias Shanu S (25) and Jiyas (25).
According to police, Shan and Jiyas are DYFI sympathizers.
The duo attacked the house of Shibu on January 3 and damaged the bike and car which were parked in the porch. After the attack , both fled the scene and have been absconding before being caught by police on Monday.
The accused were presented to Kattakada court by Monday evening from where they were subsequently released from custody on court bail.
