BHOPAL: Taking a dig at Congress government over alleged deteriorating law and order, BJP state chief Rakesh Singh has issued a threat to the Congress government. He said, “The Congress government in the state will be toppled if any one targets BJP workers in state.” BJP will no longer tolerate such lawlessness in the state as BJP leaders are being killed, he added. BJP will torch effigies of state government at district headquarters on January 21 on alleged deteriorating law and order as mark of protest against the killing of its workers.
BJP state president Rakesh Singh said, “Law and order has totally collapsed and to lawlessness prevails all over the state. The morale of criminals has been boosted since the Congress take over the charge in MP. Murders have become a routibne affair. During BJP regime, there was no naxal activity in the state. But since Congress has come to power, such elements have become activite again. BJP connects deputy speaker Hina Kanware’s incident to naxal activities. ”
Singh said, “Recently, SIMI activists have been released on bail. Government did not oppose the bail petition in court. Law and order is derailed in the state as BJP workers are being killed in the state. Congress has given silent consent to such activities promoting policy of appeasement. State is heading toward lawlessness. Present Congress government is not stable. It is making fall promises.
