NEW DELHI: Mentha oil was trading with nominal gains in futures trade on Monday amid muted demand against adequate supply from producing regions.

Around 12:30 pm, MCX Mentha oil futures were at Rs 1,593.50 per kg, up by Rs 2.50, or 0.16 per cent.

Restricted bets by speculators amid lower demand from consuming industries at the spot market against adequate supplies from major producing regions capped gains for mentha oil prices in futures trade.

Bullion was trading higher, gaining support from a steady global trend and dollar's weakness.
