After the wrecks of two separate ships that were traveling from Libya and Morocco, roughly 170 migrants are feared dead at sea, according to the U.N.

High Commissioner for Refugees said, "If the only measure of success in addressing refugee and migration movements is to reduce arrivals in Europe ... people will continue to drown." According to the U.N., 2,262 migrants died last year while attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea on their way to Europe.
