The State Information Commission will seek an explanation from the assistant engineer and assistant executive engineer of the Kochi Corporation’s Fort Kochi zonal office for allegedly supplying wrong information in response to an RTI query on unauthorised constructions. Commission member K.V. Sudhakaran said if a complainant was represented by another person before the commission, he/she should carry an authorisation document from the complainant. “This is to avoid filing of RTI under bogus names,” he said.
