Bhopal: The team of Karvy, which has come for carrying out survey for the first phase of Swacchta Sarwekshan 2019, visited as many as ten spots in the city. According to sources, the teams visited Neelbad, Ratibad, Nehru Nagar, New market areas in the early hours of Friday. However, no municipal official had information about the team’s locations.
The team will carry out survey for the open defecation status of the city. The first phase will carry 250 marks while the other phases of star rarting and star rankings will be carrying 2750 marks. The team members clicked photographs of the toliets, including individual toilets in the slums and community and public toilets in the areas and the photographs were directly sent to their headquarters in New Delhi.
This feedback will be used for grant of marks for the survey. Additional commissioner in the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) MP Singh when contacted said that the team had to carry out a secret survey. We were not informed about their location and we can’t say how the feedback was, he added.
