India restricts Australia on 230, Chahal bags six wickets

Melbourne, India bundled out Australia for 230 runs as Yuzvendra Chahal took six wickets in the tour finale at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday. Chahal didn’t even allow the hosts to cross 250 runs mark.

India won the toss and asked Australia to bowl first.

The hosts got off to a bad start, when they lost their both openers Alex Carey (5) and Aaron Finch(14) under nine overs. At that time Australia were on 27/2.

However, Peter Handscomb top-scored for Australia with 58 runs off 63 balls. He managed to add score to this team total, when wickets were falling on the other end.

Shaun Marsh too played well and scored 39 runs off 54 balls. The three-match series is currently tied at 1-1 after Australia won the first ODI in Sydney by 34 runs and India won the second in Adelaide by six wickets.

By winning the third ODI in Melbourne, India will finish the current 2018-19 tour without losing a series Down Under.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each.
