LUDHIANA: An awareness workshop was organised at Bachat Bhawan, on Friday, which was chaired by Director of Industries & Commerce Punjab, DPS Kharbanda. A large number of industrialists from different industrial associations participated in this workshop.
Addressing the industrialists, Kharbanda said, “The main aim of the Punjab government is to provide an atmosphere where ease of doing business is the main priority. Industrial and business development policy of the state government has been framed after several deliberations with all stakeholders so that the industrialists can avail full benefits of the policies. Industrialists should read this policy thoroughly and share the important aspects of this policy with their staff as well. Several policies for the welfare of industry have been framed by the government and there is no shortage of funds when it comes to boosting industrial growth in Punjab, therefore businessmen should take full advantage of the policies of the government”
