In 1983, Apple released Lisa, the first commercial computer. It was one of the first personal computers with a graphical user interface and a computer mouse. Lisa underwent many changes during the development period in 1978 before shipping at the very high price of US$9,995 with a 5 MB hard drive. It didn't sell well, but it did get Apple on the right development track.
