10% quota for general category poor to be effective in UP from January 14
The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to implement 10 per cent quota for general category poor in the state from January 14, 2019.
UP’s Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma made the announcement in this regard on Friday after emerging from the Cabinet meeting.
The reservation will be applicable to all services of the state government.
