The 112th ranked player enters the fray on the back of a morale boosting qualifying round win over third seed, Romanian Nini Gabriel Dica, this week.

After being a set down, Montsi clinched the tie 4-6 6-4 6-4 against Dica to earn his first Grand Slam tournament spot against Binda, who favours playing in hard court.

The other South African entry in the tournament, Klopper (115th ranked) from Bloemfontein, will face off against Wojciek Marek. His Polish opponent is the 47th ranked junior male tennis player according to the latest world rankings released this week.

Klopper also progressed through to his first Grand Slam main draw with a convincing straight sets victory over Chang-Lin Tsai.
