Bhopal: If the BJP forms the government in centre the state Congress government will toppled within seven days, said Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava while addressing a programme in Damoh district on Thursday. He repeated his earlier claim that Kamal Nath government is a jugad government and it will be toppled very soon.
In his address he claimed “If BJP forms the government and prime minister Narendra Modi becomes the PM, the Congress government will be toppled within seven days”. He also claimed that “I had shown the kundli of Congress government at the Kumbh, the jyotish-acharya said that government has a short life and it will be toppled anytime.”
He alleged “The Congress is not having much strength to form the government in the state, the party won in elections because of internal sabotage in BJP.” He said “The party is like a mother and some people had betrayed with their mother (BJP), but I will bring the honour back in the state.”
Leader of opposition in Assembly, Gopal Bhargava has demanded to extend the duration of a 4-day assembly session, starting from February 18. Bhargava in a letter to Governor Anandiben Patel said the issues of farm loan waiver, damage to crops due to frost, procurement of crop yields at minimum support price (MSP) and others would not be discussed in three-day meeting. Bhargava wrote that the duration of the session should be extended to fifteen days.
The House proceedings would take place on only three days during the four-day assembly session as one day would be a holiday. The assembly session has been called for bringing vote-on-account to arrange funds for the expenses of the government from April to June.
