GSX-R 1000-Powered, 190 HP Honda N600 Is A Baby Hoonitruck

Ken Block’s Ford F-150, also known as the Hoonitruck, could be one of the most incredible custom builds we’ve come across in the past 12 months. This Honda N600 might just be a close second.

The similarities between this N600 and the Hoonitruck are immediately noticeable, as the tiny Japanese kei car has been transformed to look just like Ken Block’s Gymkhana drifter. It has a near-identical livery, similar wheels and tires – even a large wing hanging over the edge of the bed.

Unlike the Hoonitruck, however, it doesn’t feature a Ford engine but is instead fitted with the screaming unit of a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 superbike. The engine is mounted in the bed and is coupled to a six-speed sequential transmission that works in a similar manner to a motorcycle gearbox.

The car is owned by Alex Saint and according to him, it only weighs 1075 lbs (487 kg) and pumps out 190 hp, making for a power-to-weight ratio on par with expensive sports cars and supercars. When launched properly, the N600 can rocket down the quarter-mile in a mere 12.3 seconds at 104 mph (167 km/h), a time that’s simply staggering for such a tiny car.
