NDA Rafale deal achieved better price than earlier proposal: Defence Ministry

The Defence Ministry on Friday dismissed as "factually inaccurate" a media report that talked of a 41 per cent increase in the price per aircraft of the 36 Rafale fighter jets from Dassault saying it had got "better price, delivery period and terms" compared to the of the UPA era proposal for purchase of 126 bare-bones aircraft.
