The State government is adopting a lackadaisical attitude in providing houses to flood-affected people, Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala has said.
He visited Kuttanad on Friday and interacted with the flood-affected. “Several people lost houses in the August deluge. Instead of providing them assistance, the government is cheating them,” he said.
He said the government had not compensated traders affected by the floods.
