Cadet Virendra Singh from BSSS receives honours as Commander for MP/CG NCC Group

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, It is a matter of great pride that two cadets from the Bhopal School of Social Sciences, Nitin Singh and Virendra Singh, students of B.Com VI Semester participated in the Coastal Trekking Camp 2019 organised by the Orissa Directorate and put up a grand performance of valour and bravery.

The camp was organised from 7th January to 15tgh January at Puri, in the state of Orrisa in which 560 cadets from 10 states viz Andhra Pradesh, Orrisa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh etc had participated.

In the trekking expedition, the cadets started from Belwada, reaching Jagannathan Puri via Konark and Bhubaneshwar. They had to walk 30 kms every day in the sandy terrain which in itself a strenuous adventure. They even crossed seashores and forests on their way.

The cadets were closely monitored and evaluated on the basis of their leadership skills, disciplinary attributes and overall performance. Cadet Virendra Singh was felicitated as the Group Commander for MP/CG Group because of his extraordinary performance in the Camp.

Dr. Fr. John PJ, Principal BSSS, congratulated him and also extended his warm wishes for his bright future ahead.
