MOIL Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation to take up a project of joint exploration of manganese-bearing areas, exploring its feasibility and to conduct operations as well as to set up value-additional plant in joint venture at Vadodara & Chhota Udepur (Gujarat) with an investment of ₹250 crore. It is proposed to commence activities of exploration in 2019. Shareholders of MOIL and GMDC will follow the development.
