Nearly 40 buyers, who invested in Orizzonte, moved UP-Rera against the builder.
The order came after the builder failed to furnish an adequate response explaining why it failed to pay assured returns to the buyers or how it plans to complete the project which is already overdue by over two years.
“We’ve asked financial analysts, Currie & Brown, to conduct an audit on where the investments of the buyers went as the builder seems to be in no position to complete the project,” said Balwinder Kumar, a member of the UP-Rera.
