NOIDA: After the RWA federation’s move to survey all sectors on cleanliness count ahead of Swachh Survekshan this month, another residents’ body on Tuesday announced a competition for the cleanest society or apartment complex in the city called Swachh NOFAA Society. This will be the first time that the city is assessed for the cleanliness survey.

About 50 highrises under Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Association (NOFAA), a residents’ welfare body catering to highrises only, are likely to participate in the competition from February 1 to 28, Rajiva Singh, the association president, told TOI.

“The highrises will be ranked based on overall cleanliness inside and outside the complex, residents’ feedback and internal processes on waste management. These societies will also be judged on their work related to waste segregation and disposal, dust control, greenry and the state of their common toilets. The results of this assessment on a total of 250 marks will be announced on March 3,” he added.

Some of the highrises in the city that are members of NOFAA include Meghdutam apartments, Omaxe Twin Towers, Mahagun Maestro, Overseas Apartments, Stellar Kings Court, Windsor Greens, Shubhkamana Apartments, Silver Estate, Alok Vihar I and II, Palm Grove, Antriksh Green, Crescent and Mahagun Manor.
