Gathering of Karachi Education Society's BT Shahani High School and junior college held
Swati Shinde Gole | TNN | Jan 16, 2019, 21:59 ISTPUNE: The annual gathering of the Karachi Education Society's BT Shahani High School and junior college was recently held at its campus. Ritu Prakash Chhabria, director of Finolex Industries and managing trustee of Mukul Madhav Foundation was the chief guest at the gathering, a statement issued by the college said.
The statement added that, in her address to the students, Chhabria said that, to become successful in lives it is important to read biographies and autobiographies of successful people. These stories show the path of success in the life.
At the gathering Lt. General (Retd) Dipak Ajwani, vice-president of Karachi Education Society, Brig. (Retd) M L Bhambani, Dipak Ramnani, secretary of the society among others were present.
Chhabria said in the statement that, "I have seen and met many great people. All have a certain innocence in common that allows them to observe life openly and with a sense of fair play and not without judgement. Whatever they do, arises from their liberalism of spirit."
She also added that, successful personalities speak their mind and are consistently honest. She said in the statement that, every child has some unique quality and has some special talent. If they could identify the same with the help of parents and teachers and work on it, then they can be assured of a bright future irrespective of their background.
She also felicitated students for their outstanding performance in academics and extra-curricular activities. Students from the BT Shahani High School presented a special drama on Pralhad Chhabria's life, who is the founder of Finolex Group. Students also performed various dances, skits and songs at the gathering.
