Severe thunderstorms are expected over the extreme north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape and the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday.

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Northern Cape, the western parts of the North West and the Free State, and the Laingsburg Local Municipality of the Western Cape.

Heat wave conditions are expected over the western and central parts of both the Free State and North West and the extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape until at least Friday.
