The Centre for Innovation and Development of Affordable Technologies (CIDAT), a Thiruvalla-based innovative platform for start-ups, will be organising monthly camps aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs, according to Vinay Goyal, Thiruvalla Subcollector; and Father Abraham Mulamootil, District Innovation Council member.
Father Mulamootil said the idea was to conduct the camp at the Mar Athanasios College For Advanced Studies Thiruvalla (MACFAST) auditorium at Thukalasserry, near Thiruvalla, on the third Saturday of every month. Local MLA Mathew T. Thomas will be inaugurating the first camp at the MACFAST auditorium at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Dr. Goyal will deliver the introductory speech.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of the Thiruvalla Archdiocese of the Syro-Malankra Catholic Church, Thomas Mar Koorilos, will deliver the benedictory speech.
Chris Pillay, Information Technology and Management Consultant to the American President, will deliver the keynote address , says Father Mulamootil.
Father Mulamoottil said CIDAT would act as a gateway to young entrepreneurs. , providing them access to otherwise inaccessible business and knowledge networks.
